Weekly ‘Legal Support’ Office Hours
Wednesdays, at 3pm (US Eastern)
Hosted by the A4L Community with Mark Williams, a nationally recognized education privacy attorney, for members and SDPC Resource Registry Users.
The Office Hours are open, free weekly sessions. Any advice that can be provided verbally in the allotted time will be free of charge.

The current training ‘bundle’ has three modules, which cover the following content areas: Privacy Fundamentals; National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA); and New York State Privacy Laws.

Privacy matters more than ever in K-12 education. There is both renewed federal attention to FERPA compliance and real-world consequences to failing to protect student records, including community backlash, loss of trust, and negative publicity. The A4L educator FERPA training is a go-at-your-own-pace training designed for school and district decisionmakers (e.g., tech directors, principals) to quickly learn the requirements, including explanations from national experts, case studies, relevant examples, and comprehension questions.

On-site SDPC Resource Registry training for Alliances & School Districts: $1,000 (6 hours)
Excludes travel expenses which will be billed separately.
Remote SDPC Resource Registry training for Alliances & School Districts: $250 per hour
